At high percentages a notable crystallization becomes apparent. Melt point is approximately 130° F (54 C). Triple-pressed stearic powder, also known as Stearin, may be used in any amount from 1% to 100%. Price show is per pound of stearic powder. It acts as a hardener for low melt point waxes, and lowers the melt point of higher temperature waxes. Also available in 1/4 pound packets. Opaque hardener. Don't wait - order today!
