Wax Melting Kit includes: 1 small melting pot (a smaller version than the handled pot shown here), one 6 qt. Our Wax Melting Kit comes with everything you need to melt up to 2 pounds of wax at a time via the double boiling method. steamer pot, 1 thermometer, and 1 box of wooden stir sticks (longer and thinner than those shown in the photo). But when double boiling, the wax never gets above about 208° F, which is well within the safe zone. Most waxes have a flash point of about 400° F, at which point the wax can catch on fire. All items in the kit are reusable. You know you want this, so why fight it? As long as an appropriate water level is maintained, this method prevents the wax from reaching dangerously high temperatures.
